Description: Rank: Hospital Administrator II Office: Administrative Services Department, Tung Wah Hospital, Hong Kong West Cluster Pay HK$ 31,055 to HK$ 60,421 (HGPS point 13 to 27) per month including Monthly Allowance (see remarks 2) Key Responsibilities 1. Assist the Hospital Management in day-to-day managerial and administration functions in the following areas: Domestic and Supporting Services Linen and Uniform Services Procurement and Materials Management Hospital Informatics and Medical Records Management Secretariat and Executive Support Community and Public Relations Facilities and Capital Works Project Management Planning and Commissioning Emergency Preparedness and Contingency Planning, communication coordination and other contingency situations General Administration 2. Render executive support. 3. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. 4. Perform on-call duties or work outside normal working hours. Entry Requirements 1. A degree from a Hong Kong University; or equivalent; and 2. Fluen t Cantonese and good written Chinese. Preferred Attributes / Exposure 1 . Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. 2 . Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently. Remarks For Serving HA Staff 1. Selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for up to 3 years depending on his / her existing employment terms. Serving contract employee will be offered contract employment with an up to 15% total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. Serving permanent employee will be offered a fixed term appointment after which the employee may be reverted back to his / her former substantive rank. 2. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash Allowance, Fixed-flexi Allowance or Monthly Allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package / employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External Applicants 3. The selected candidate will be offered contract appointment up to 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. 4. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply.
