Description: Office : Kowloon West Cluster Pay : HK$24,518 - HK$34,260 (HGPS Point 9 - 15) per month including Monthly Allowance. (See Remarks Item 3) Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the following day-to-day human resources functions (including Recruitment and Appointment, Performance Management, Benefits and Compensation, Training and Development and Staff Relations and Communication). 2. Compile statistics and conduct simple analysis. 3. Assist in collecting and analyzing data for management reporting and prepare presentation material. 4. Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, typing, data processing, filing and tracking of documents). 5. Provide administrative support to committees and meetings. 6. Provide support and co-ordinate meetings/ programmes/ activities. 7. Handle enquiries / feedbacks. 8. Supervise junior clerical and supporting staff. 9. Support implementation of HR projects. 10. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. Entry Requirements: 1. (a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent. OR (b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below: - Level 2 in English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and - Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects/ Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent. 2. 3 years’ clerical experience with good knowledge of the functions and operations in one or more of the following areas: (a) general administration (b) filing and records keeping © supplies and stores (d) human resources (e) finance, accounting and statistics (f) data input and analyses (g) typing, word processing and/or Chinese word processing (h) telephone operation, client communication and reception service Preferable attributes / Exposure: 1. Experience in human resources management. 2. Good knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM) system, including the checking and input functions. 3. High proficiency in office automation, e.g. MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and other common PC applications. 4. Good knowledge of HA’s HR policies and practices. 5. Post-secondary education level. 6. Ability to organize work and supervise junior clerical staff. 7. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. 8. Self-motivated, strong analytical mind and good communication skills. Remarks: For HA Serving staff 1. Serving staff who have completed F.5/S.5 or equivalent and have 3 years’ clerical experience within HA may also be considered. 2. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment up to 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. Serving contract employee will be offered contract employment with an up to 15% total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity, subject to satisfactory completion of the contract. Serving permanent employee will be offered fixed term appointment after which the employee may be reverted back to his/her former substantive rank. 3. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash Allowance, Fixed-flexi Allowance or Monthly Allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/ employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External Applicants 4. Selected candidate will be offered contract term appointment up to 3 years . Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. 5. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply.
