Description: Office: Supporting Services, New Territories East Cluster Pay: HK$21,615 to HK$27,564 (HGPS point 7 - 11) per month including Monthly Allowance (Please see remarks 3) Responsibilities : To lead/supervise teams of supporting staff in providing various services, and outsourced contract management in the following areas: domestic and transportation services, pest control, gardening, waste management, security and carpark management, staff accommodation, and other supporting services, etc. To implement, coordinate, monitor and review security and fire safety measures including enforcement of Hospital Authority By-laws in the hospital. To conduct regular inspection round to ward/ patient areas/ units/ staff accommodation and any public areas within hospital compound. Liaise with other department heads and service contractors in the provision of services and monitor service performance. To handle emergencies, other ad hoc incidents independently and to prepare necessary logistics, reports and documentation for hospital managers. To prepare and review the standard of procedures and work instructions. To assist in manpower planning, recruitment, training, supervision and management of supporting service staff. Assist in complaint /incident investigation, report and carry out the follow-up actions. To control and maintain stock of materials and other equipment items. Perform shift duties, may be required to work overtime, and is required to report duty during adverse weather such as typhoon and black rainstorm and other emergencies. Monitor the daily operation and performance of Security Guard & Supporting Staff Any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Requirements: (a) 3 years’ satisfactory service in the HA, or (b) 2 years’ supervisory experience in hospitals, hotels, cleansing service, facilities management or other related services/industries. 2. Have shown the potential to control and supervise staff. Preferable Attributes : Knowledge in the application of common computer software including Microsoft Office, email and Chinese Word Processing etc. Good command of Chinese and English. Ability in handling ad-hoc and emergency duties. Mature, responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently. Good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills. Great flexibility and able to handle multi-tasks. Experience in related field and handling of hospital system (AMS, CMMS & ADS) would be an advantage.
