Description: Issue Date: 7 April 2021 Extended on 21 April 2021 Rank: Chief Executive Officer Office: Strategy, Service Planning & Knowledge Management Department, Strategy & Planning Division, HA Head Office Pay HK$148,432 to HK$171,014 per month (including Monthly Allowance) [HMPS point 20 to 24] (see remarks 4) Job Reporting to the Chief Manager of Strategy, Service Planning & Knowledge Management Department, key responsibilities of the position include the following: Lead the formulation of Strategic Service Frameworks for HA services, chronic disease prediction model etc. Liaise and coordinate with relevant stakeholders in developing the strategic directions of clinical service for HA. Participate in other areas of service planning e.g. planning of major capital projects, the corporate annual planning process etc. Other administrative duties as assigned by CM(SSP&KM). Requirements A university degree or equivalent, preferably with medical qualification. At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in management and/or professional roles. Possess a strong background in health service planning, with good knowledge of the public healthcare system in Hong Kong and/or overseas. Strong leadership qualities as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Analytical, innovative and committed to achieving strategic results. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Remarks May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA. The selected candidate is expected to undergo the fellowship training of Administrative Medicine organized by the Hong Kong College of Community Medicine. For Serving HA Staff 3. Selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. Serving contract employee will be offered contract employment with an up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity upon satisfactory performance and completion of contract. Serving permanent employee will be offered a fixed term appointment after which the employee may be reverted back to his/her former substantive rank. 4. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash Allowance, Fixed-flexi Allowance or Monthly Allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be made in accordance with prevailing policies. For External Applicants 5. Appointment will be on contract terms for a period of 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. 6.
