Description: Rank : Operation Assistant II Office : Department of Pharmacy, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Pay : HK$ 17,888 - HK$ 21,743 per month Key Responsibilities Perform drug and consumable stock replenishment in pharmacy. Perform inventory management and store-keeping duties including expiry date checking etc. Assist in the daily dispensing and logistic activities in pharmacy. Assist in the drug charging process. Handle enquiries from other departments. Routine facilities & equipments cleansing and disinfection in cleanroom / pharmacy. Routine medical waste disposal. Assist in routine monitoring of the environmental condition of cleanroom. Assist in maintaining document control system and filing. Assist in data collection in ward stock topping up service. Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisors. Entry Requirements 1. Tertiary education; OR 2. F.5/ S.5 with: (1) HKCEE 5 passes incl. English & Chinese; or (2) 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below: - Level 2 in English & Chinese; and - Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (Subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects AND at least one year working experience in related discipline. Preferred Attributes / Exposure Good command of English and Chinese, written and spoken. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently. Interested to work in hospitals. Familiar with the use of computer systems and office applications such as Word, Excel. Remarks: For Serving HA Staff 1. The candidate selected will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for up to 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. The offer of salary for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies . For External Applicants 2. Appointment will be on contract terms for up to 3 years. 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance . 3. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply.
