Description: Post : Registered Nurse (General) Office : Occupational Health Centre / Hong Kong East Cluster Pay : HK$34,260 – HK$55,133 (HGPS Point 15 – 25) per month including Monthly Allowance (See Remarks item 1) Key Responsibilities 1. Undertake general nursing and supervisory duties. 2. Act as a case manager to execute, coordinate, and monitor multidisciplinary treatment plan to OHC patients. 3. Provide counseling to patients of OHC. 4. Participate in worksite assessment and provide safety recommendations on return to work issues. 5. Co-ordinate health surveillance service and manage nurse-led services to provide specialized patient care. 6. Participate and implement strategies in promotion of occupational health and well-being for HKEC staff. 7. Participate in evidenced-based practice and nursing research. 8. Participate in the development of procedures related to patient care and nursing practice for OHC service. 9. Document relevant information to maintain accurate, clear and current patients’ records. Entry Requirements 1. A Certificate of Registration (Part I) and a valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. 2. Fluent Cantonese. Preferred Attributes / Exposure 1. Able to communicate in English. 2. Good communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Working experience related to OSH. Remarks For Serving HA Staff: 1. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash allowance, Fixed-flexi allowance or Monthly allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/ employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External Applicants: 2. Appointment will be on contract full-time terms for an initial period of 6 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary as end of-contract gratuity (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) may be offered at the end of each 3 years subject to satisfactory performance. 3. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA. For All Applicants: 4.
