Description: Rank : Executive Assistant IIIA Office : Human Resources Division / Hong Kong East Cluster Pay : HK$14,031 to HK$17,733 per month Key Responsibilities: Perform clerical duties following general instructions or prescribed procedures under supervision. The typical duties include: 1. Assist in day-to-day human resources functions and operation. 2. Input data into human resources information systems. 3. Assist in preparation of management reports. 4. Maintain human resources records. 5. Answer enquiries from staff members and /or public. 6. Provide logistic support on functions, meetings and activities organized by the Human Resources Division. 7. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. Entry Requirements: 1. Completed F.5/S.5 or equivalent and possess relevant working experience; OR 2. Completed F.5/S.5 with : (i) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syl B) and Chinese Language, or equivalent; OR (ii) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below: ⦁ Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language; and ⦁ Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects, or equivalent. Preferred Attributes / Exposure: 1. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. 2. Hands-on experience in common office automation (e.g. email, internet, intranet etc), and proficiency in performing typing and computer operations in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Chinese word processing. 3. Working experience in human resources, in particular in functions like staff complaint, performance management, recruitment and appointment, and data analysis / data processing. 4. Good interpersonal relationship with good communication and organizational skills. 5. Responsible, outgoing, flexible, self-disciplined, and able to complete assigned clerical work independently. 6. Possession of a post-secondary educational qualification in human resources management or secretarial studies. Remarks: For Serving HA Staff 1. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for up to 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. 2. The offer of salary to serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External Applicants 3. Appointment will be on contract terms for up to 3 years. 5% of total basic salary as contract-end gratuity may be offered subject to completion of contract with satisfactory performance. 4. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply.
