Description: Hospital : Kowloon West Cluster Pay : HK$15,751 - HK$24,518 (HGPS Point 2 - 9) per month including Monthly Allowance (See Remarks item 3) Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the following day-to-day administration functions of the Human Resources Division: - Recruitment and Appointment - Benefits and Compensation - Leave and Termination - Performance Management - Training and Development - Staff Relations and Communication 2. Process, verify and compile forms and data. 3. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. Entry Requirements: 1. (a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent. OR (b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below: - Level 2 in English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and - Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent. 2. Ability to perform typing, word processing and/or Chinese word processing. Preferable attributes: 1. Proficiency in MS Office e.g. MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint. 2. Pleasant, energetic and with good communication skills. 3. Well-organised, strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, able to work independently and multi-tasking. 4. Experience in managing high volume of data and good at analysis and compiling reports. 5. Having qualification or working experience in human resource management. Remarks: For HA Serving staff 1. Serving staff who have completed F.5/S.5 or equivalent and have 2 years’ clerical experience within HA may also be considered. 2. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1 to 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. Serving contract employee will be offered contract employment with an up to 15% total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity, subject to satisfactory completion of the contract. Serving permanent employee will be offered fixed term appointment after which the employee may be reverted back to his/her former substantive rank. 3. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash Allowance, Fixed-flexi Allowance or Monthly Allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be made in accordance with prevailing policies. For External Applicants 4. Selected candidate will be offered contract term appointment for 1 to 3 years . Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. 5. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply.
