Description: Rank: Executive Assistant II Office: Quality and Safety Department, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Pay: HK$17,888 - HK$21,743 per month Key Responsibilities: 1. To perform administrative and clerical support for daily operation of the department. 2. To coordinate and organize meetings and activities related to Q&S functions. 3. To assist in incident management and coordinate risk reduction activities, including root cause analysis and quality improvement projects. 4. To collect and generate statistical data and compile audit and management reports. 5. To support the hospital enquiry counter in handling public and patient enquiries. 6. To handle complaints and requests for assistance from patients and public and to draft the correspondences and reply letters. 7. To carry out any other duties as assigned by seniors. Entry Requirements : 1. University Graduates; OR 2. Has obtained a Diploma in a specialized function, and has completed F.5/ S.5 with: (a) 5 subjects passed in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language, or equivalent; OR (b) 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below: (i) Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language, and (ii) Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category)/ Grade E in Other Language subjects, or equivalent Preferred Attributes / Exposure: 1. Relevant working experience. 2. Excellent command of both written and spoken English. 3. Good interpersonal and communication skills. 4. Well-organized, self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently and under pressure. 5. Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 6. Knowledge of website design and development is preferable. Remarks: For Serving HA Staff 1. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1 to 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. The offer of salary for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External Applicants 2. Appointment will be on contract terms for 1 to 3 years. 5% of total basic salary may be offered as end-of-contract gratuity upon completion of the contract with satisfactory performance. 3. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rejoin Mechanism of HA. For All Applicants 4.
