Description: Position : Temporary Full-time / Part-time Dispenser Rank : Dispenser Office : Department of Pharmacy, Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong West Cluster Pay HK$21,340 (HGPS Point 8) per month (For Part-time Dispenser: To be pro-rated based on the total package and work pattern for a full time Dispenser depending on the work hours.) Key Responsibilities Support the function and operation of clinic dispensaries, Community vaccination centres run by the Hospital Authority and/or hospital pharmacies. Entry Requirements 1. (a) A Certificate in Dispensing Studies from the Vocational Training Council, or equivalent. AND (i) completed the 3-year on-the-job training organized by the Hospital Authority. OR (ii) have 3 years’ on-the-job training in dispensing in recognized institutions 1 year of which should be post-certificate. OR (b) A Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent from an institution recognised by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong for registration. OR © A Higher Diploma in a recognised dispensing-related studies programme conferred by a local academic institution, or equivalent. 2. (a) Grade E or above in English Language (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent. OR (b) Level 2 or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education, or equivalent. Preferable Attributes / Exposure 1. With working experience as a Dispenser. 2. Knowledge in handling Pharmacy Management System. 3. Fluency in written Chinese and spoken Cantonese. Remarks 1. Appointment will be offered on temporary full-time / part-time terms for a period up to 30 November 2021 . The renew / extension of appointment will be subject to service need, availability of funding and job performance. 2. Exact working hour pattern for part-time employees is negotiable. 3. May be required to work shifts and irregular hours as well as perform on-call duties. 4. May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA. 5.
