Candidates should have:
(a) a bachelor’s degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
(b) at least one year’s post qualification full-time working experience in management or related field; and
© Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [see Note].
Successful candidates are mainly deployed to –
(a) perform general administration and management work such as resources management, systems and records management, committee work, collection and analysis of statistical information, compiling reports, etc,
(b) assist in project work such as projects planning, processing funding applications, handling enquiries and complaints, conducting visits, etc.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for 12 months. The offer of further appointment beyond the existing contract is subject to the service need and the satisfactory performance and conduct of the appointee. The successful candidate may be required to work overtime and irregular hours, on shift and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(e) Where a large number of candidates meet the specified entry requirements, the recruiting department may devise shortlisting criteria to select the better qualified candidates for further processing. In these circumstances, only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend recruitment examination and/or interview.
(f) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria. Applicants who have declared disabilities found suitable for appointment may be given an appropriate degree of preference over other applicants whose suitability for appointment is considered comparable to that of the former. (g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. They should submit copies of their official transcripts and certificates together with the application form and the required documents to the contact address.

Application Forms [G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2013)] are obtainable from any Home Affairs Enquiry Centre of District Offices, Home Affairs Department or any Job Centre of the Employment Services Division, Labour Department. The said form can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau’s web site (http://www.csb.gov.hk).
Completed application forms together with the following documents should reach the contact address on or before the closing date for application (the postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the date of application) –
(a) A detailed description of duties of all full-time employments, in particular, the working experience in management or related field; and
(b) An essay in Chinese or English in not less than 200 words explaining why you are interested in applying for the post of Contract Executive Assistant.
Please specify on the envelope ‘Application for the post of Contract Executive Assistant’. To avoid delayed and unsuccessful delivery of applications by post, applicants should ensure that the correct address is clearly printed or written on the envelope and sufficient postage has been affixed before posting. Mail items bearing insufficient postage will not be delivered to this Department and will be returned to the sender or disposed of by the Hongkong Post, where appropriate. Applicants will bear any consequences arising from paying insufficient postage.
For applicants holding qualifications obtained from academic institutions outside Hong Kong, please attach copies of diplomas/certificates, transcripts of studies and official documents issued by the relevant academic institutions stating the mode of delivery (e.g. full-time/part-time, on campus/distance learning, etc.) of the study programmes to the completed application form. To facilitate assessment of qualifications, the above documents on any prior qualifications obtained should also be supplied. Do not send any originals of diplomas/certificates or other qualification documents. The title of the post being applied for should be quoted on the envelope and on every page of the copies of the documents. Copies of local qualification documents are not required at this stage of application.
Applications which are incomplete or late, or submitted by fax or email, or not made in the prescribed form, or without the above required documents will not be considered.
Applicants should provide their email addresses on the application forms. Candidates who are selected for interview (to be held tentatively from June to August 2021) will receive an invitation in June or July 2021. Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
