Description: Rank: Executive Officer II Office: School of General Nursing, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Pay: HK$34,260 to HK$60,421 (HGPS point 15 to 27) per month including Monthly Allowance (See remarks 2) Key Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for providing day-to-day general administrative functions of the school including data processing, document management, school database record, as well as student-related activities. 2. Responsible for providing executive and secretarial supports to various school meetings, organizing training programs and other educational-related activities. 3. Responsible for providing IT / technical support in teaching & learning activities and school activities. 4. Provide support in procurement and asset management. 5. Compile and analyze statistics and reports for management review. 6. Lead and supervise Clerks and Executive Assistant and Supporting staff in the department. 7. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Entry Requirements: 1. A degree from a Hong Kong University or equivalent. 2. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Preferred Attributes / Exposure: 1. At least 2 years of post-qualification working experience in providing administrative and executive support. 2. Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills, outgoing, able to work under pressure and multitasking. 3. Responsible, self-motivated, highly flexible and detail minded, and able to work independently. 4. Good analytical and problem-solving skills 5. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing. Remarks For Serving HA Staff 1. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1 – 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. Serving contract employee will be offered contract employment with up to 15% total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity upon completion of the contract with satisfactory performance. Serving permanent employee will be offered fixed term appointment after which the employee may be reverted back to his/her former substantive rank. 2. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash Allowance, Fixed-flexi Allowance or Monthly Allowance) for serving employees will be made in accordance with prevailing policies. For External Applicants 3. Appointment will be on contract term for 1 – 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. 4. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply.
