Candidates should have -
(a) a bachelor degree from a university of Hong Kong in Electronics Engineering or Information Technology/Computing discipline or equivalent;
(b) at least 4 years of post-qualification relevant project experience with 3 years of which should be in managing site installation, interconnection, overall integration and acceptance testing, commissioning of medium to large-scale electronics systems, computerized information/control systems or Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure with proficiency in using Microsoft Projects software [Notes (1) and (2)]; and
© met the language proficiency requirement of Level 2 [Note (3)] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent.
An Assistant Project Manager is mainly deployed to -
(a) assist Electronics Engineer (EE) in detailed system design review, safety and quality management, installation, system acceptance, integration, interoperability testing, commissioning and implementation of mitigating measures on Communications, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) and Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems in support of the planning and implementation of the Three-Runway System (3RS);
(b) assist in site inspection duties; project management; vetting of safety control measures and related contractor submissions;
© assist EEs in preparation of system handover, including documentation, to the maintenance team;
(d) assist EEs in reviewing various technical drawings, scheme design/detailed design reports, computer modeling/simulation study reports, statement of work, test procedures to ensure full compliance with the ICAO and CAD requirements; and
(e) assist EEs in establishing and upkeeping documentation database for all relevant hardcopy/softcopy of drawings.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms up to 31 March 2022. Renewal of contract will be subject to operational needs.

Completed forms, together with the above questionnaire, submitted in person or by post should reach the contact address below of the recruiting department on or before the closing date for application.
