– HK$22,357 per month (see Remarks 3, 6) Job: 1. To assist in management of Medical Equipment Maintenance and repair: (a) To perform daily and
terminal disinfection, re-assembly pre-use checking and storage of medical
equipment i.e. ventilator, incubator, physical monitor, infusion pumps etc. (b) To perform regular maintenance procedure i.e. battery charging etc. © To be responsible for equipment repairs logistic procedure and record
keeping and report to nurse in charge. (d) To assist in periodical preventive maintenance check and keep record
thereof. (e) To perform regular stock checking and assist in annual inventory
stocktaking. (f) To provide continuous site support regarding equipment to the frontline
nurses. (g) To report to ward manager on the equipment profile and utilization and
assist WM to request for spare parts for equipment. 2. To assist in Ward Stock Maintenance and keep reasonable ward stock
level ensuring a smooth operation. 3. To assist in delivery
of patient care. 4. To collect blood and blood products from blood bank. 5. To perform clinical related duties as assigned by supervisors. Requirements: 1. Completed F.5/ S.5 or
equivalent, (see Remarks 1) & 2. Completed structured
departmental training. (see Remarks 6) Preferable
Attributes/ Exposure: 1. Applicants working
experience in healthcare field desirable. 2. Interest to serve and
communicate with patients. Remarks: For Serving
HA Staff 1. Serving
staff who have completed F.3/ S.3 or equivalent and have care related
experience within HA may also be considered. 2. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term
appointment for 1-3 year(s) depending on his/her existing employment terms. 3. The offer
of salary to serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined
based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and
prevailing policies. For External
Applicants 4. Selected
candidate will be offered contract terms for 1-3 year(s). 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract
gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract. 5. Retiring /
retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal
retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of
employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the
Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA. For All
Applicants 6. Applicants who do not
meet entry requirement 2 ,
if find suitable, will be employed to undergo at least 6 months’ on the job
training. During the training period, they will be appointed as Patient Care
Assistant IIIA at a monthly salary of $14,958. After the training period of
at least 6 months and passing the end of training assessment on skills and
with satisfactory performance, they will be appointed as Patient Care
Assistant II with monthly salary of $17,888. Employment may be terminated if
the selected applicant cannot pass the assessment after training. 7. Selected candidate
may be required to work shifts, irregular hours and may be required to attend
duties during typhoons, rainstorms and other emergencies. 8. Required to wear
uniform and other personal protective equipment. 9. Selected candidate
will be posted in Tuen Mun Hospital and may
be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA. 10. Renewal of contract
