Candidates should have: -
(a) a bachelor’s degree from a university in Hong Kong, or equivalent;
(b) attained ‘level 3’ or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note];
© at least six years of full time post-degree working experience in executive/management/administrative duties, preferably in the Government or public sector;
(d) good command of written and spoken Chinese and English;
(e) proficiency in the application of common software (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as Chinese and English word processing; and
(f) strong leadership and planning skills, good communication and interpersonal skills.
(a) To assist in administering and implementing the TechConnect Block Vote (“TCBV”) Allocation and related work, such as coordinating funding application, processing technology project applications and progress reports submitted by government bureaux/departments (“B/Ds”), and provide secretariat support in committee work and meetings;
(b) To assist in resources management of and provide executive support to the TechConnect Unit, such as manpower planning and review, and assist in overseeing daily office operation and supervision of staff;
© To assist in liaising with B/Ds and external parties on technology proposals and promoting the adoption of technology by B/Ds;
(d) To handle enquiries on TCBV and related matters, render support in preparing papers, notes, briefs as required; and assist in conducting research on the latest technologies adopted by governments in the Mainland and overseas; and
(e) To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidate will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for a period of 12 months.
(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. Application forms [G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2013)] are obtainable from any Home Affairs Enquiry Centre of District Offices, Home Affairs Department or any Job Centre of the Employment Services Division, Labour Department. The said form can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau’s website (http://www.csb.gov.hk). Completed application form together with a full curriculum vitae and copies of relevant documents (as specified below), should reach the following enquiry address with envelope clearly marked “Application for the position of Project Executive” (the postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the date of submission of application) on or before 6:00pm., 1 April 2021. Please ensure that sufficient postage is paid. An applicant will bear any consequences arising from not paying sufficient postage. When submitting the application, the candidate is required to provide the following documents-
(a) a full curriculum vitae including:
(i) details of bachelor degree (e.g. major subject and class and division of honours); and
(ii) employment records with detailed description of duties;

Applications which are incomplete, late, not duly signed, submitted not according to the prescribed methods, not made in the prescribed form, or without required documents will not be considered. Candidates who are selected for interview will normally receive an invitation in about four weeks from the closing date for applications, but this timing is subject to change without prior notification to applicants. Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful. Only candidates who are selected for interview will be notified.
