Description: Office : Department of Podiatry, Queen Mary Hospital Hong Kong West Cluster Pay HK$31,055 to HK$50,343 (HGPS Point 13 to 23) per month including Monthly Allowance (please see remarks 2) Job 1. Provide comprehensive clinical services for conditions affecting the foot and lower limb for hospital and/or community based patient care. 2. Provide foot health education to patient, hospital staff and the community. 3. Assist Podiatrist I in complex case management and providing training to other health care professionals. Requirements 1. A degree in Podiatry, Podiatric Medicine or Podiatric Studies, or equivalent. 2. Be eligible for professional registration of Podiatrist (or equivalent) in the country where the qualification was conferred. Preferred Attributes 1. Remarks For Serving HA Staff 1. Selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for up to 31 August 2022 depending on his / her existing employment terms. Serving contract employee will be offered contract employment with an up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. Serving permanent employee will be offered a fixed term appointment after which the employee may be reverted back to his / her former substantive rank. 2. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash Allowance, Fixed-flexi Allowance or Monthly Allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package / employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External Applicants 3. Appointment will be on contract terms for a period of up to 31 August 2022 . Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. 4. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply.
