Description: Office : Department of Finance, New Territories West Cluster (NTWC) Pay : K$21,895 to HK$25,906 per month Job: Reporting to Finance Manager/Assistant Finance Manager, the incumbent will support day-to-day operation in Other Charges Budget Management Team: Perform financial and management accounting duties. Carry out general clerical duties and daily operation at Finance Department. Conduct data entry, retrieval, analysis , and prepare management report and presentation. Support maintenance and enhancement of the financial system and in-house database. Assist in the development and implementation of department programs or other quality assurance projects to enhance internal controls. Handle general enquiries from user departments. C arry out general clerical duties that include filing and record keeping. P erform any other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the supervisors. Requirements : 1. University graduates with experience; OR 2. Completed F.5/ S.5 AND Diploma in specialized function with (a) or (b) below: (a) passes in 5 subjects in the HKCEE, including English Language (Syl B) and Chinese Language, or equivalent; OR (b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below: Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language; and Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent; Preferable Attributes/ Exposure: 1. Hands-on experience to use HA financial systems, such as Oracle ERP, Hyperion, BUR, EIS etc. 2. 3. Proficiency in PC applications e.g. MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word. Good knowledge in database management. 4. Good organizing and analytical ability. 5. Responsible, self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure. 6. 7. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in spoken and written English and Cantonese. Remarks : For Serving HA Staff 1. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1-3 year(s) depending on his/her existing employment terms. 2. The offer of salary to serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External Applicants 3. Selected candidate will be offered contract terms for 1-3 year(s). 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract. 4. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA. For All Applicants 5.
