Description: Office: Cluster Facility Management Unit, New Territories West Cluster (NTWC) Pay: HK$14,031 – HK$17,733 per month Job : 1. To assist in daily administrative support to managers and supervisors, including preparation of reports for hospital management in relation to Facility Management. 2. To assist in planning and monitoring building projects including cash flow management, defect checks, etc.; and supervise projects undertaking by various work agents to the hospital and in-house minor repair services. 3. To assist in monitoring of the outsourced consultants and contractors to ensure quality services and liaise with parties concerned for the expedient provision of service. 4. To co-ordinate with healthcare end-users on facilities management issues. 5. To work under general supervision following instructions or prescribed procedures. 6. To carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor(s). Requirements : 1. F.5/ S.5 with (a) or (b) below: (a) HKCEE 5 passes including English Language (Syl B) and Chinese Language; or equivalent; OR (b) 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below: Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language; and ​​​​​​ Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent; OR 2. F.5/ S.5 with experience. Preferable Attributes/ Exposure : 1. With working experience in relevant field, e.g. Facility Management, Property Management etc. 2. Good at interacting with people with customer service skills. 3 Proficiency in applications of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and word processing (both English and Chinese). 4. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Access and other database management system would be an advantage. 5. Responsible, self-motivated, outgoing and able to work independently with good communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Commitment and flexible working hours (over time during project deadlines). Remarks : For Serving HA Staff 1. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1-3 year(s) depending on his/her existing employment terms. 2. The offer of salary to serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External Applicants 3. Selected candidate will be offered contract terms for 1-3 year(s). 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract. 4. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA. For All Applicants 5.
