Description: Rank : Executive Assistant II Office : Nursing Services Division, Hong Kong Children’s Hospital (HKCH), Kowloon Central Cluster Pay : HK$1 7,888 - HK$21,743 per month Responsibilities: 1. To file and retrieve documents, compile statistics & returns and search for useful information. 2. To coordinate and organize meetings, programmes and activities. 3. To assist in compiling and updating of clinical workflow and guidelines. 4. To handle enquiries, liaise and communicate with staff, clients and public. 5. To coordinate minor feedback and complaints with relevant departments. 6. To carry out general administrative duties and clerical support that includes filing, data entry and simple statistics and record keeping for the daily operation of the department. 7. To perform reception services, help in counter and registration work, and provide information and assistance to patients and public. 8. Other duties as assigned by supervisors. Requirement: 1. University graduates; OR 2. Has obtained a Diploma in a specialized function, and has completed F.5 / S.5 with: (a) 5 subjects passed in HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language, or equivalent. OR (b) 5 subjects in the HKDSE attaining the level specified below: Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language; and Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (Subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent. Preferably Attributes / Exposure: Experience in Ambulatory settings . Experience in Shroff. Experience in procurement and supplies activities and maintain adequate stock of equipment, stationery & general consumables. Experiences in operating HA systems (e.g. OPAS & SRS etc.). Possess good knowledge in health care related and clerical experience in hospital information system, health care research and statistics. Proficiency in common computer software (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing). Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Good interpersonal skills and communication skills. Be responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently. Remarks For Serving HA Staff 1 . The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1 to 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. The offer of salary for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package / employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External Applicants 2. Appointment will be on contract terms for 1 to 3 years. 5% of total basic salary may be offered as end-of-contract gratuity upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. 3. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA. For All Applicants 4.
