Hospital Salary: HK$17,888 - HK$22,357 per month (See Remark 5) Key Responsibilities: 1. To assist nurses in providing direct patient-care
service in various service settings. 2. Handle patient / public enquiries and communicate with
clinical staff and public . 3. Measure patient’s vital signs and other physical
parameters. 4. Assist doctor during clinic consultation such as
transfer record, equipment handling, chaperoning, patient positioning &
specimen handling etc. 5. Discharge out-patient and provide instructions to
patient and family. 6. Trace and retrieve laboratory test results,
investigation reports and films from relevant departments. 7. Prepare patient for investigation, physical examination
and nursing procedure. 8. Provide low complexity care to patient such as changing
napkin, transfer and escort patient, etc. 9. Perform escort / outreach / outdoor duties if required. 10. Maintain clinical environment clean and tidy. 11. Provide preventive maintenance and disinfection of
equipment. 12. Regular check stock of equipment and consumables and
responsible for regular ordering. 13. Handling clinical waste and confidential waste paper. 14. Perform clerical duties such as performing statistic
and data input for clinical management purpose. 15. To perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Entry Requirements: 1. Completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent (see Remark
1). AND 2. Completed the structured departmental
training (see Remark 5). Preferred Attributes: 1. Possess
recognized Health Care Assistant Training / Care-related Support Workers
Certificate*. 2. Experience in
providing palliative care service. 3. Proficiency in common computer software, including MS
office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Access) and Chinese word processing. 4. Good interpersonal and communication / presentation
skills. 5. Self-motivated, willing to learn and able to work
