Description: Analyst Programmer Pay: HK$37,809 – HK$57,728 (HGPS Point 17 - 26) per month including Monthly Allowance (See Remarks 2) Requirements: 1. Degree in computer science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent. 2. 4 years’ post qualification Information Technology (IT) related experience * * Relevant experience gained in HA may be considered as equivalent to post-qualification experience. Responsibilities: 1. Support and ensure quality IT services and operations in cluster 2. Assist team manager to monitor, control and support IT service delivery 3. Supervise junior staff to carry out day-to-day IT duties according to service standards 4. Manage and support IT servers, databases, websites as well as other IT infrastructure 5. Liaise with vendors, user departments and other IT teams for smooth implementation and administration of corporate systems 6. Assist in planning and implementation of system upgrade, hardware replacement and other service improvement projects 7. Provide after office hours system support 8. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Preferable Attributes: 1. Proven experience in cluster/hospital IT operation and project implementation such as Filmless, IPMOE, EAM, 1D1P, Hospital redevelopment 2. Familiar with administration in desktop / laptop, server and network, remote access, Windows and Mac OS 3. Good verbal and written communication in both Chinese and English 4. Self-initiated with good interpersonal skills, analytical and teamwork mindset Remarks For Serving HA Staff 1. Selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed-term appointment up to 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. (a) Serving contract employee will be offered contract employment with up to 15% total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity upon satisfactory completion of contract. (b) Serving permanent employee will be offered a fixed term appointment after which the appointment may be renewed for another period or the employee may be reverted back to his/her former substantive rank. 2. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash allowance, Fixed-flexi allowance or Monthly allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External Applicants 3. Selected candidate will be offered contract term appointment up to 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract. 4. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply.
