Description: Office : Administrative Services Division Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital / Hong Kong East Cluster Pay : HK$31,055 to HK$60,421 (HGPS Point 13 to 27) per month including Monthly Allowance (See Remarks 2) Key Responsibilities : On various posts, the incumbents will assist the Senior Hospital Administrators of Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in the day-to-day managerial and administrative functions under the following areas: • Executive Support to Boards & Committees • Facilities Management • Supporting services and quarters management • Corporate Services and Communication • Procurement and Materials Management • Quality & Safety (including incident management, quality initiatives and patient relations) • Safety and Environmental Management • Training Centre Management • Any other duties as assigned by supervisors Entry Requirements : 1. A degree from a Hong Kong University; or equivalent; and 2. Fluent Cantonese and good written Chinese. Preferred Attributes : 1. Good written and spoken English. At least Grade C in Syl. B in English Language of HKCEE OR Level 3 in English Language of HKDSE; or equivalent. 2. Formal training and / or working experience (at supervisory or managerial level) in public administration, business management, health services management and public relations. 3. Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. 4. Outgoing, able to work under pressure and multi-tasking. 5. Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently. Remarks : For Serving HA Staff 1. Selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed-term appointment for up to 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. (a) Contract employee - will be offered contract employment with an up to 15% total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as contract-end gratuity subject to completion of contract with satisfactory performance. (b) Permanent employee - will be offered a fixed term appointment after which the employee may be reverted back to his/her former substantive rank. 2. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash allowance, Fixed-flexi allowance or Monthly allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External Applicants 3. Selected candidate will be offered contract term appointment for up to 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as contract-end gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. 4. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA. For All Applicants 5. May be required to work outside normal office hours, perform on-call duties, work shift and irregular hours, and attend duties during typhoon, black rainstorm warning and other emergencies. 6.
