Description: Office: Supporting Services Unit, New Territories West Cluster (NTWC) Pay: HK$17,888 – HK$21 ,743 per month Job : Assist supervisors to perform Supporting Services functions/ services as listed below: 1. To supervise frontline support services staff and assist in supporting manpower deployment. 2. To coordinate supporting services including security, transportation, outsourced service contractors, domestic, gardening and pest control, etc. 3. To handle emergencies, disasters and workplace violence. 4. To monitor the performance of the service contractors. 5. To manage the operations of overnight dormitory and changing room facilities. 6. To maintain good housekeeping works. 7. To prepare duty roster and management reports. 8. To assist seniors to perform general office duties. 9. To control and co-ordinate departmental transport, including supervision of drivers. 10. 11. To train front line staffs. To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Requirements: 1. F.5/ S.5 with certified technical training / skill AND relevant experience / license; OR 2. Able to (i) read and write Chinese, (ii) speak fluent Cantonese and (iii) read, write and speak simple English wit h 3 year hospital working experience. Preferable Attributes : 1. Candidate with supervisory or working experience or institutional training in pest control, portering, clinical waste, fire and security contingency or health care setting or domestic/cleaning services. 2. Good communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Good command of basic written and spoken English and Chinese. 4. Good PC skills & knowledge in common software such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other MS Office applications. 5. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Remarks : For Serving HA Staff 1. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1-3 year(s) depending on his/her existing employment terms. 2. The offer of salary to serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. 3. Staff in the Workman II grade who are on civil service terms will, if selected, be appointed under the Shadow Promotion Scheme. For External Applicants 4. Selected candidate will be offered contract terms for 1-3 year(s). 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract. 5. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA. For All Applicants 6.
