Description: Office : Community Psychiatric Service, New Territories West Cluster Pay : HK$32,625 to HK$52,722 (HGPS Point 14 to Point 24) per month (including Monthly Allowance) (See Remarks 2) Key Responsibilities : 1. Provide outreach visits and crisis intervention to patients. 2. Plan, implement and evaluate individual care plan to patients and carers. 3. Provide clinical support to other clinicians/ service providers/ community partners. 4. Actively participate in clinical meetings and service development activities. 5. Actively participate in activities related to the development of clinical service standard and practice guideline. 6. Deliver other duties as assigned by the supervisors. Entry Requirements : 1. A B.Sc./ B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent. 2. Be registered as an Occupational Therapist in Part I of the Register of the Occupational Therapists under the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance and have a valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Occupational Therapists Board, Hong Kong. 3. At least one year relevant clinical experience in psychiatric field. Preferred Attributes / Exposure : 1. Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese. 2. Communication skill. 3. Empathy. 4. Commitment to patient care. 5. Leadership. 6. Interpersonal skills. Remarks : For Serving HA Staff 1. The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1 - 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. Serving contract employee will be offered contract employment with up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity upon completion of the contract with satisfactory performance. Serving permanent employee will be offered fixed term appointment after which the employee may be reverted back to his/her former substantive rank. 2. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash Allowance, Fixed-flexi Allowance or Monthly Allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be made in accordance with prevailing policies. For External Applicants 3. Appointment will be on contract terms for 1 - 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. 4. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rejoin Mechanism of HA. For All Applicants 5. Selected candidate will be posted in Castle Peak Hospital and may be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA. 6.
