Description: Office : Department of Information Technology Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital / Hong Kong East Cluster Pay : HK$25,972 to HK$39,671 (HGPS Point 10-18) per month including Monthly Allowance (See Remarks 2) Key Responsibilities : 1. Responsible for programming, implementation, maintenance and modification of IT solutions in areas of responsibility. 2. Prepare and perform testing of IT solutions in areas of responsibility. 3. Maintain system documentations and reports of IT solutions in areas of responsibility. 4. Document system changes and enhancement. 5. Provide user support on IT solutions in areas of responsibility. 6. Liaise with users, contractors and other IT teams for system maintenance. 7. Install, configure and maintain system hardware, software or services. 8. Assist in monitoring systems connectivity, performance and system control in the areas of responsibility. 9. Assist the implementation of technical infrastructure enhancements in the areas of responsibility. 10. Conduct application program development for different modules according to system specifications. 11. Conduct various stages of testing including unit test, integration test, system test, load test etc. 12. Carry out system documentation of the application components. 13. Provide after office hours system support. 14. Perform on-site support duty at different hospitals/institutions in Hong Kong East Cluster. 15. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Entry Requirements : 1. Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent. Preferred Attributes : 1. Experience in Application Development: - Experience in Internet/Intranet applications, website development and mobile applications and graphic design tools. - Solid experience in MS Windows Server, MS IIS Server, MS SQL Server, ASP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS and MS SharePoint. or Experience in Technical Support: - Experience in network infrastructure, mobile device support, MS Windows and Mac OS platforms 2. Self-initiated, self-motivated and able to work independently. 3. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Remarks : For Serving HA Staff 1. Selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for up to 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. (a) Contract employee - will be offered contract employment with an up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as contract-end gratuity upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. (b) Permanent employee - will be offered a fixed term appointment after which the employee may be reverted back to his/her former substantive rank. 2. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash allowance, Fixed-flexi allowance or Monthly allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External Applicants 3. Selected candidate will be offered contract term appointment for up to 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as contract-end gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. 4. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA. For All Applicants 5. May be required to work over-night shifts and/or provide 24-hour on call support, and when necessary, provide on-site support services at different hospital. 6. May be required to work shift and be on duty during typhoon, rainstorms and other emergencies. 7. May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA. 8.
