Location: Sheung Wan
Roles & responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating the operation and the research work of the Planning and Development Section;
support the school sections in organizing group-based student exchange and cross-boundary learning activities;
promote careers education and guidance for further studies as well as opportunities for service learning;
manage Funds and Scholarships for students to support student development;
coordinate exchange programmes and education tours for staff;
provide executive support for the implementation of School Based Management in Incorporated Management Committee (IMC) schools in Tung Wah;
coordinate policy implementation and plan on Board Allocation, financial and procurement as well as human resources management of Tung Wah schools;
coordinate School Award Scheme and Teacher Award Scheme; and
act as school liaison officer for Tung Wah schools.
The ideal candidate should possess:
a recognized degree or equivalent;
at least Grade D in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
at least 4 years of executive experience, preferably 2 years in the field of education;
preferably experience in project management;
good organizational and interpersonal skills; and
proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
