The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Line Manager in overall sales and marketing activities referring to the Europe/Mediterranean trade for maximizing revenue and profitability.
Act as the focal point of contract, carry out and report on sales visits for the assigned clients;
To handle sales-related issues and enquires raised by clients;
Secure nomination and cargo bookings with maximum contribution to the Line and the Company as stipulated from time to time;
Prepare forecast and customer performance review on a timely basic;
Develop new accounts and strengthen customer base by assuring service reliability and improving customer satisfaction;
Liaise with Management and Regional office to identify potential clients and business opportunities;
Build up a professional image and maintain a strong business relationship with clients;
Monitor market trends and competitors’ activities;
Any other assignment as and when assigned by the Line Manager.
Degree holder in Business Administration/ /Logistics / Marketing or related disciplines;
At least 8 years of Sales & Marketing experience preferably in Shipping/Liner Industry;
Knowledge on Europe/Mediterranean trade services would be an advantage;
Detail-oriented and able to work independently;
Hands-on MS Office Applications knowledge;
Proactive and excellent communication skills;
Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin;
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Sales Manager.
