Description: Position : Operation Assistant II (Pharmacy) Office : Department of Pharmacy, New Territories West Cluster Pay: HK$17,888 – HK$21,743 per month Job: Provide support to pharmacy operations including top-up service, re-packing of drugs, bulk item replenishment, and drug delivery. Assist in day-to day operation, responsible for proper handling and care of pharmaceutical items and facilities to facilitate accurate and efficient dispensing. Assist in the stock and store management of pharmaceutical items, heavy-duty goods, equipment and inventory items. Provide supportive duty in aseptic and cytotoxic drugs preparation including stock management, packing and transporting products and handling enquiries from wards. Perform routine cleansing, monitoring and maintenance of the environmental and equipment conditions of the aseptic units of pharmacy. Responsible for data collection, data entry, filing and maintenance of the document control system. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Requirements: Tertiary education; OR Completed F.5/ S.5 with: 5 subjects passes in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language, or equivalent; OR 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below: Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language; and Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent. AND relevant experience/ license. Preferable Attributes/ Exposure: Preferably two years relevant working experience; Possession of formal training and relevant qualification in materials or logistics management is an advantage; Good PC skills & knowledge in common software such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other MS Office applications. Remarks: For Serving HA Staff The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment up to 1-3 year(s) depending on his/her existing employment terms. The offer of salary to serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External Applicants Selected candidate will be offered contract terms for 1-3 year(s). 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA. For All Applicants Selected candidate may be required to work shifts, irregular hours and may be required to attend duties during typhoons, rainstorms and other emergencies. Required to wear uniform and other personal protective equipment. Job rotation would be arranged for the selected candidate if required. Selected candidate will be posted in Tuen Mun Hospital and may be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
