Description: Rank: Programmer Office : Information Technology, New Territories West Cluster (NTWC) Pay: HK$25,972 – HK$39,671 (HGPS Pt. 10 – 18) per month including Monthly Allowance (see remarks 2) Job: Perform development and implementation for various application systems. Maintain existing application systems. Assist in monitoring systems connectively, performance and security control in the areas of responsibility. Document system changes and enhancement. Prepare and perform testing of IT solutions in the areas of responsibility. Provide user support on IT solutions in the areas of responsibility. Maintain system documentations and reports of IT solutions in the areas of responsibility. Provide after office hour system support when necessary. Entry Requirement: Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent. Preferred Attributes: At least one year post-qualification experience in the field of mobile system development in iOS and iPadOS. Proven experience in RESTFUL API development and web-based application development. Experience in the following areas would definitely be an advantage: Swift and Xcode .NET core ReactJs/React Native MySQL Docker Remarks: For Serving HA Staff The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1 - 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. Serving contract employee will be offered contract employment with up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity upon completion of the contract with satisfactory performance. Serving permanent employee will be offered fixed term appointment after which the employee may be reverted back to his/her former substantive rank. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash Allowance, Fixed-flexi Allowance or Monthly Allowance) for serving employee upon changes in appointment will be made in accordance with prevailing policies. For External Applicants Selected candidate will be offered contract employment for 1 - 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity upon completion of the contract with satisfactory performance. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA. Selected candidate will be posted in Tuen Mun Hospital and may be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA. Job rotation would be arranged for the selected candidate if required. Renewal of contract will depend on funding, operational needs and appointee’s performance. May require to work over-night shifts and / or provide 24-hour on call support, and when necessary, provide on-site support services at different hospitals.
