Responsibilities : 1.
Provide administrative support for the daily operation of the department. 2.
Assist in planning, coordinating, organizing and managing departmental programs
and activities. 3.
Assist in collecting and analyzing data for surveillance reporting. 4.
File and retrieve documents, compile statistics and returns. 5.
Participate in clinical research studies. 6.
Operate, maintain and housekeeping of consumable for the department video
routing system and backup device. 7.
Cooperate with IT division to maintain hardware, software and technical support
to department. 8.
Maintain department homepage and electronic document management system. 9.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor. Entry Requirements
: 1. University Graduates with experience; OR 2. F.5 / S.5 with (a) HKCEE
5 passes including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language; OR (b) 5
subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below: (i) Level 2 in English Language & Chinese
Language; AND (ii) Level 2 in New Senior Secondary Subjects /
“Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects
under this category) / Grade E in other Language subjects. AND diploma in a
specialized function AND relevant experience. Preferred
Attributes / Exposure : 1.
With working experience in clinical department. 2.
Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese. 3.
Proficiency in common computer software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
& SPSS. 4.
Knowledge and experience in Web Design and Maintenance. 5.
General knowledge of hospital operations. 6.
Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. 7.
Good ability to handle difficult situation, analyze problems and find
solutions. Remarks: For Serving HA
Staff 1. The selected candidate will be offered
either contract or fixed term appointment for 1 - 3 years depending on
his/her existing employment terms. The offer of salary for serving employees
upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration
package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies. For External
Applicants 2. Appointment will be on contract terms for 1 - 3 years. 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be
offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance. 3. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to
continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If
selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance
