Description: Position: Clerk III Rank: Clerk III Office: Health Information & Records Office, Queen Mary Hospital Cluster: Hong Kong West Cluster S alary: HK$15,751 – HK$24,518 (HGPS point 2 - 9) per month including Monthly Allowance (See Remarks 3) Key Responsibilities: To assist in day-to-day operational and supervisory function at Hospital level in the following areas: 1. Provide patient services, including patient registration, enquiries and counter services. 2. Provide administrative support to the Department, including compilation of statistics and management reports, and taking meeting notes, etc. 3. Handle the request for release of patient information, including medical report and data access requests etc. 4. Coordinate and assist in hospital special projects. 5. Handle health information and records. 6. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Entry Requirements: 1. (a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent; OR (b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below: Level 2 in English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent; 2. Ability to perform typing, word processing and / or Chinese word processing. Preferable Attributes / Exposure : 1. Experience in providing administrative support in hospital preferred. 2. Knowledge of common office automation, PC applications and HA IT systems. 3. Knowledge of other dialects (e.g. Mandarin) in the light of individual job requirement. 4. Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills. 5. Relevant experience.
