We are looking for an exceptional Global Partnerships Associate to help us grow and thrive through strategic alliances with private, public and social sector organizations. Existing multi-national collaborators include Bank of America, Microsoft, Credit Suisse, Verizon, Pure Good Foundation, and more. This role will be responsible for adding to that exciting roster.

This role will also have a focus on expanding our partnerships network in APAC. We have operations in Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong, and have graduated more than 1,000 people, 70% of whom have found employment within 3 months after graduating from our programs. In the months ahead, Generation APAC is embarking on an ambitious scale up plan, both in deepening our system change agenda in existing markets and planning our launch in Thailand. Partnerships are not only instrumental in funding these activities, they also play a pivotal role in delivering the access to jobs, expertise, technology and other resources needed to keep Generation at the cutting edge.


Reporting directly to the Chief Partnerships Officer and working closely with the Asia Pacific Chief Executive Officer, the Global Partnerships Associate will cultivate and oversee an exciting portfolio of partnerships. You will be responsible for direction setting of each partnership, and end-to-end management of Generation’s delivery therein. You can expect initial responsibility for 2-3 existing multinational relationships, with this portfolio to grow over time.

Specifically, you will:

Cultivate, design and secure new multi-country programmatic relationships with corporations and development organizations, aligned with our global strategy
Develop and execute a plan to maximize the impact of each partnership under your leadership, and to deliver an exceptional experience for our partners
Lead our working relationships with key stakeholders at multiple levels in partner organizations, and be a credible representative of Generation in discussions with same
Oversee the high-quality implementation of Generation programs against scope and targets agreed with partners, and ensure timely and accurate reporting of same
Support local teams in multiple Generation affiliates to secure and manage high-quality national partnerships that will fuel their impact
Contribute to the establishment of partnerships as a “center of excellence” within Generation by gathering, creating/codifying and disseminating resources and best practices
Be a committed and valued member of the global partnerships team, and play a vital role in creating a culture that attracts and supports exceptional talent


You have experience managing complex projects and working across diverse, global team
You are warm, empathetic, and love getting to know new people – meaning you can build trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders in a range of geographic, cultural and industry contexts
You have exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal
You are resolutely data-driven in your approach to solving problems, influencing and informing decisions, and will put in the legwork to get us to the best solution to any problem
