Lead and coordinate the statutory reporting, compliance and annual audits for the Region in compliance with the Group’s standard and external regulations
Liaise with external auditors and Global Statutory team for regular updates of reposting standards and ensure all accounting practices are compiled with the corporate policies and guidelines
Review and maintain internal financial controls and procedures, including month end closing process and accounts reconciliation
Lead and perform financial projection and analysis in collaboration with the Financial planning and Analysis (FP&A) team during the planning and budgeting process, and other ad hoc accounting and finance projects as assigned
Drive system change and process standardization to optimize the quality and efficiency of accounting functions, and support the global initiatives in projects
Support in mentoring and coaching accounting staff in China and other regional offices to ensure they have knowledge and skills required for their duties
Qualifications & Experience required:
Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Qualified accountant from professional accounting institutions
At least 10 years of relevant experience in sizeable company of which more than 5 years of experience in audit field with Big 4. Hands-on experience in countries in APAC will be a plus
Experience in system process implementation with proven track record of success
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with people at all levels
Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
