Job Description

  1. Job Purpose

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all physical assets owned by Zuellig Pharma Ltd. Hong Kong (ZPHK) within the Operations department.

This scope is broadly defined to cover ZPHK’s distribution centers and all leasehold improvements that have been made, as well as machine handling equipment (MHE’s) and delivery fleet.

The Facilities Manager will also be involved in any project which requires significant investment in leasehold improvement.

This job shall support the company to ensure investment into our assets is protected and the lifespan of the company’s assets are maximized.

  1. Critical Accountabilities

A. Distribution Centre Maintenance

To lead and manage the warehouses facilities , covering such items as Racking Maintenance & Inspection , conveyor belt maintenance , air-conditioning / HVAC systems , compressors , and other tasks
To serve as the contact point with Landlords for required rectification works
Renew all necessary statutory license from different government department, such as Fire suppression system year inspection certificate

B. MHE & Delivery Fleet Maintenance

To lead and manage the fleet of delivery vehicles & MHE’s
Liaise with suppliers for rectification work
Inventory check of asset list to ensure no missing assets or damaged assets

C. IT Asset Maintenance

To lead and manage the asset list of IT equipment in Operations
Broadly covers RF scanners , RF access points, label printers , and security control devices – CCTV , access control , motion detection
Liaise with suppliers for rectification work
Inventory check of asset list to ensure no missing assets or damaged assets

D. Default / Design / Planning

To handle budgetary projections and control , including the agreed target cost for all maintenance works
To manage project work including expansion and new facilities

E. Renovation and new project Support

To support / supervise office renovation and liaise with colleagues from HR department
To lead technical team including consultant, vendor and end user and liaise with landlord or different government department to support the new engineering project

F. EH&S, Quality Assurance

To maintain the standard of warehouse quality assurance according to QA guidelines
Serve as one of the contact point for Environmental Health & Safety

Job Requirements

A degree in engineering or a related discipline is advantageous
Holder of relevant professional qualification or equivalent is advantageous
Solid experiences in the facilities and equipment Management preferably with exposure to warehouse, or pharmaceutical/food manufacturing factory and/or trucks maintenance
Open Minded, Service-minded, independent, self-motivated and an out of the box thinker
Good analytical, planning & organizing skills
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
