Job Description

Our client is looking for Execution Officer to join their expanding business. The main duties for this role are to assist the Execution Manager in the daily operation of the Execution Desk for both client driven transactions and the Company’s treasury activities

Client Details

Our client is a globally renowned financial holding group with more than 100 years. With a network of over 800 branches in Hong Kong, Asia and Europe, they provide services include consumer banking and lending, asset management, payments, insurance, securities brokerage and distribution, foreign exchange, leasing, and corporate and investment banking.


Provide indicative price quotation per client’s request in a timely manner
Execute client’s securities orders promptly, fairly, and in the best possible terms in accordance with the client’s instructions, the Company’s policies and the relevant regulatory requirements;
Manage and diligently update the Execution Desk’s trade blotters to record all client’s securities transactions which includes fixed income/credit securities and equities
Encode all relevant transactions in the Execution Desk System accurately and promptly
Forward trade tickets to the internal teams for processing within prescribed transaction cut-off times
Follow up any trade discrepancies with the relevant functions
Coordinate with the internal teams for client’s securities funding and for subsequent transfer/funding instructions
Keep abreast of developments in the financial markets and prepare market reports
Assist in market monitoring, and inform for any significant news and developments relevant to client’s investments
Prepare MIS reports as may be required by Management
Ensure that the department’s activities are compliant with the Company’s policies, BPI parent’s preapproved limits, relevant regulatory requirements, and market-defined ethical standards
Perform other tasks that may be required by Management


College graduate preferably with a Degree in Economics, Finance, Maths or other business related courses
At least 1 year of dealing/dealing support related experience in the financial industry
Holder of Hong Kong Regulated Activity Licenses, HK securities accreditation, etc. is an advantage
Qualification in Enhanced Competency Framework on Treasury Management is an advantage
Passed HKSI Regulatory Paper 1 (Fundamentals of Securities and Futures Regulation) examination
Proficient in deal order execution and broker/dealer activities;
