Job Description


The Client Services Manager/Lead is a creative and strategic thinker who understands the client’s business and can lead a team creating extraordinary experiences to help meet the clients’ goals and objectives, while building positive professional relationships with wider accounts & catalogue management teams.

This person is comfortable living in both the client services and project delivery worlds. He / She proactively communicates with stakeholders on project status, challenges and opportunities. This person will be interested, invested and passionate about the industry, the clients we service, and the work produced. Demonstrates flexibility, accountability, passion and empathy.


Act as a primary point of contact for on-going projects, serving as the lead in communicating accounts teams needs to the team and vice versa.

Understand your client’s short- and long-term goals, understand their competition and what they are doing.

Understand and communicate client business needs to the internal team and to third-party vendors

Ability to inform/Advise the accounts teams how to best work and what drives project success from the manufacturing/global sourcing centre perspective.

Develops solutions and drives consensus for problems in a diplomatic, professional and timely manner

Project Support

Unique oversight and perspective to maintain a common goal while increasing knowledge, communication, and awareness between team members and the wider accounts teams.

Aligns the team to the goals of the project, shares client insights and objectives with the team.

Effectively executes project plans throughout the life of assigned project(s) according to established procedures, channels and success expectations.

Manages, monitors, and maintains the project scope and communicates status of scope to team members.

Facilitates and is an active participant in both client and internal meetings.

Coordinates project deliverables and guiding the team on potential risks

Defines, negotiates, communicates, implements and monitors quality standards on all project deliverables

Manages project communication and documents issues and changes that affect the project.

Develops status reports and works with capability project leaders to ensure resources are in place.

Ability to work with a team and create a positive environment

Forecasts, tracks and manages project budgets and revenue, POs and invoices.

Identifies, analyses, prioritizes, mitigates and communicates project risks.


Post-secondary education is preferred, or equivalent experience.

3-7 years experience managing a variety of project types;

Experience leading teams.

Strong competency in managing and controlling project scope, schedule, budget and resource management/reporting and change management, project roadmap development and revenue forecasting.

Basic knowledge of Project Management principles, methods and techniques.

Experience in leading conversations with clients, around scope, schedule, and budget as well as roadmaps, objectives, and strategies.

Ability to tactically organize and structure activities, paying particular attention to detail.

Must be responsive, receptive to feedback, self-starter, problem solver and an excellent communicator.

Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills to facilitate effective task and resource management.

Demonstrated communication, presentation, leadership, facilitation and negotiation skills.

A solutions oriented leader with refined decision-making skills and the ability to lead by example.

Ability to stay focused on the driving goals even in high-pressure situations.

Ownership and accountability of clients’ business needs and ability to drive to solutions
