Banking Talent Programme - Information Technology
Supported by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and Hong Kong Association of Banks (HKAB), the Banking Talent Programme (the Programme) aims at nurturing young talents for the financial industry and providing fresh graduates with an opportunity to better prepare for future careers in the banking sector.

As one of the participating banks to support the Programme, Dah Sing Bank is looking for fresh graduates in 2021 of universities in or outside Hong Kong to join our Information Technology Division.
Eligibility:
2021 graduates with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering related disciplines
Employment Duration:
6 months
Programme Period:

September 2021 - February 2022
Professional Training:
A series of professional training courses organised by the HKMA, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Academy of Finance, the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) and other relevant bodies and reputable market practitioners will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Perform programming, testing and debugging on various banking systems as assigned, such as Core Banking, Internet Banking and Mobile Banking, etc.
Assist in the coordination and development of interface with onshore and offshore teams
Support in developing test procedures and co-ordinate UAT
Participate in the production of pre and post production manuals
Co-ordinate with vendor for the development work
Conform the quality assurance testing
Provide necessary operational support on production system as required
Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering related disciplines
Knowledge in any of the following technical skills is preferable:
Web technologies such as HTML5, Javascript, CSS, Spring boot or Angular
Mobile application development using Objective-C, Swift or Kotlin
Data analytics and machine learning techniques using python, R or other programming language
Fast learner who are passionate about new technologies
Sound communication skill in both written and spoken (Cantonese, English, Putonghua)
Good team player and proactive
